BREAKING! NAF Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing on Farmland in Makurdi

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter made a safe emergency landing on a farmland in Utur Tse-Igboji (Bar Council Ward), Makurdi, Benue State, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, after the aircraft developed a fault mid-flight.

All passengers and crew disembarked safely with no casualties reported.

 

This comes just days after another NAF aircraft crashed into a swampy area in Ondo State, killing all on board.
