Umo Eno: I Made ₦10M From Selling Bread & Akara — Akwa Ibom Governor

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has claimed that he once made as much as ₦10 million monthly from selling akara and bread.

The governor made the claim while speaking about his entrepreneurial journey and experiences before venturing fully into politics.

According to Eno, his involvement in the food business was profitable and taught him important lessons about entrepreneurship, hard work and business management.

He reportedly said his experience in selling akara and bread demonstrated that individuals can build successful businesses from relatively simple ventures when they are properly managed.

The governor’s claim has since attracted attention, with many Nigerians expressing surprise at the amount he said he was able to generate from the business.

Eno, who previously worked in the private sector before becoming governor, has often spoken about entrepreneurship and the need for young Nigerians to develop skills and create sustainable sources of income.

The Akwa Ibom governor has also encouraged young people to embrace legitimate businesses and opportunities rather than relying solely on white-collar employment.
