NYSC Member Scammed With Fufu Disguised As iPhone At Computer Village

A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has reportedly fallen victim to a shocking scam at Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos, after allegedly purchasing what was believed to be an iPhone, only to discover it was a pack of fufu.

According to reports, the corps member visited the popular tech market to buy a smartphone but was deceived by suspected fraudsters who packaged fufu to resemble the device. The incident has since sparked outrage on social media, with many expressing concern over the persistence of such scams in the area.

Eyewitnesses recounts the viral videos circulating online show the visibly distressed victim holding the fake package after realizing she had been duped. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about fraudulent activities in Computer Village, a major hub for electronics trading in Nigeria.
