In light of the relative calm recorded after the recent violent attack on citizens of Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area, the Plateau State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has announced the relaxation of the 48-hour curfew earlier imposed on the area.
Effective from 1st April, 2026, the curfew will now be observed from 7am to 3pm. Residents are hereby permitted to carry out their lawful activities, within the stipulated hours.
The government urges citizens to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding as security agencies continue to monitor the situation to ensure sustained peace and order.
The Plateau State Government appreciates the cooperation and resilience of the public during this period and reiterates its commitment to the protection of lives and property across the state.
