A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Hon. Chidiebere Uwagwu, has paid a courtesy visit to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, commending his effective leadership and commitment to quality representation.

Hon. Uwagwu, who is the Immediate Past Commissioner for Training and Establishment, made the visit in a show of solidarity and to further strengthen the bonds within the party’s leadership structure in the senatorial zone.
During the meeting, the former Commissioner held a one-on-one discussion with Senator Kalu, during which he raised key issues concerning the development and interests of the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
Hon. Uwagwu lauded the Senator for his pivotal role in fostering unity within the Abia State chapter of the APC, describing the current harmony among party leaders as unprecedented since the state chapter was established.
He particularly commended Senator Kalu’s collaborative efforts with his younger brother, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, noting that their partnership is a model of purposeful leadership.
“I thank him for his pivotal role in uniting the Abia APC and his commendable collaboration with his younger brother, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, towards achieving victory for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections,” Hon. Uwagwu stated.
He further emphasized that the level of unity and purposeful collaboration currently being witnessed in the party is unprecedented since the creation of the Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The visit, according to party insiders, signals growing cohesion within the APC in Abia North and a collective resolve to secure victory in the upcoming 2027 elections.
