Abia City Boy Movement Visits Minister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha Ahead of Statewide Empowerment Programme

 

The Abia State delegation of the City Boy Movement, led by its State Director, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Adaejiagamba, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, to brief her on the forthcoming Abia Mega Empowerment Rally scheduled for 25th, April, 2026, at Umuahia.

Speaking during the visit, Onyejeocha, a partner of the City Boy Movement, commended the leadership of the movement for organising an empowerment programme that aligns with her long-standing political ideals. She expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for his numerous policies, which she noted have helped stabilise the country, and for leveraging the City Boy Movement as a platform to bring young people closer to governance.

 

She further reaffirmed her full support for the movement, emphasising that sustainable empowerment has remained a defining feature of her political journey. Onyejeocha urged the leadership of the movement to intensify efforts toward translating their vision into tangible outcomes, particularly in mobilising support to secure Abia State for the President and every candidate of APC.

 

In his remarks, the State Director, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), lauded the Honourable Minister for her impactful leadership both in Abia State and at the national level. He commended her commitment to service and her numerous empowerment initiatives that have positively impacted lives.

 

Igbokwe also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his youth-friendly policies, highlighting the City Boy Movement as a strategic initiative that would effectively engaged and integrated young people into governance.

 

He assured that the movement remains committed to inclusiveness and grassroots mobilization, pledging that no stakeholder will be left behind as the organization works diligently to achieve its set objectives.
