28 Fresh Millionaires in A/Ibom as Rep Ukpong-Udo Shares N25m Free Business Grants

 

Twenty-eight indigenes of Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency have received over ₦25 million in business grants under the Macaire Enterprise Development Scheme (MEDS). This initiative, spearheaded by Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-udo (PhD), aims to cultivate local millionaires by supporting small-scale businesses and driving grassroots development.

The cheques were presented to the beneficiaries by Legislative Aide Engr. Donald Bassey, marking a consistent effort to empower constituents with sustainable economic opportunities. This move is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, creating jobs and stimulating growth.

 

Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-udo, a renowned philanthropist and lawmaker, has been instrumental in driving development in Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency. His commitment to empowering his constituents has earned him recognition as a worthy ambassador of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria. He recently bagged the prestigious Best House of Representatives Member of the Year Award (Empowerment) at the 2024 Leadership Excellence Awards (LEEX) in Abuja
