The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued a stern warning to Ahmad Bashir, aide to the former President Buhari, to cease comparing it’s leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, an unarmed freedom fighter, to his “terrorist brothers”.
In a statement released by Comrade Emma Powerful, Media and Publicity Secretary for IPOB, the group condemned Bashir’s attempts to equate Kanu with terrorists, stating: “Ahmad Bashir should stop comparing unarmed freedom fighter, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with their terrorists brothers led by Tunji Bello… Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, being a true Igbo Biafran, does not believe in terrorism.”
IPOB accused the Fulani oligarchy of viewing Kanu and the group as obstacles to their conquest agenda, particularly in the Southeast Region, saying: “The Fulani cabals consider Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB as their enemies, but their real enemies are those pythons they nurtured that are now consuming them and the entire Northern region.”
The statement emphasized that IPOB and Kanu have never been violent and have been acquitted by the Appeal Court, stating: “IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have never been violent nor have any court said otherwise against IPOB or MNK of such… Nigeria’s second-highest court, the Appeal Court of the Federation, discharged and acquitted him in October 2022, but they still held him illegally in their detention facility.”
IPOB warned Bashir and his collaborators to address their terrorism problems without mentioning the group, stressing: “Any attempt to divert public attention from the genocide the Fulani terrorists are committing against the Indigenous Hausa people in the North is dead on arrival… Ahmad Bashir and his fellow terrorist conspirators should deal with their terrorism problems without mentioning anyone else, especially IPOB.”

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, being a true Igbo Biafran, does not believe in terrorism. The only crime of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB against the terrorist sponsors like Bashir was the creation of the Eastern Security Network, ESN Operatives, to deter the fulani expansion and conquest. It is obvious that the Fulani oligarchy sees Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB as obstacles to their conquest agenda of Nigeria, especially in the Southeast Region. That is why they employed all the military might and media propaganda to intimidate and blackmail IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The previous terrorist sympathetic government that Bashir served under spent billions of dollars and Naira kidnapping Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya and have detained him illegally against all court judgements. Unfortunately, for them as they detained Mazi Nnamdi Kanu illegally, the terrorists they imported keep ravaging the Northern Nigeria. Terrorists sponsors like Ahmad Bashir and his collaborators are relevant in Nigeria politics because terrorism and banditry are lucrative businesses within the government officials cycle. Comparing a terrorist with an advanced freedom fight like Mazi Kanu is an attempt to deflect the bloody terrorist’s activities of his brothers in the North. IPOB will not allow Fulani to drag our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s name, into their terrorism mess. Though Nigeria is an irredeemable British creation, the country would not have turned into this bloody mess that it is today if the Fulani invaders were not accommodated by the indigenous Hausas. Biafrans sympathize with the indigenous Hausas and hope that they will rise up and defend themselves or be decimated completely.
Ahmad Bashir should not change the narrative because Nigerians and the International Community know the difference between freedom fighting and terrorism. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a peaceful and unarmed freedom fighter, but Tunji Bello is a government sponsored soulless terrorist. There is no comparison between the two. Ahmad Bashir and his fellow Fulani cabals that operated under the cover of an imposter presidency of Muhammadu Buhari to import these dangerous terrorists decimating non-Fulanis in the North should be arrested and prosecuted. Unfortunately, Nigeria is a country where criminals prosecute the innocent, and the terrorist sponsors prosecute those who say no to terrorism. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a true cultured Igbo Biafran and a British citizen. His only crime is calling for a peaceful referendum for Biafrans to exit the terrorist infested Nigeria.
