In 2014 at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation instituted three categories of awards for the best graduating students. This action was solely to encourage academic performance and seriousness among the students. While redeeming the pledges for this year’s winners at the 52nd convocation ceremony of the prestigious University last night, I was impressed with the CGPA of the winners.
The overall best graduating student in the entire university-Ejiofor Chizoba Victor; a student of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science graduated with 4.93 CGPA.
The best graduating student in the Faculty of Social Sciences -Ugwoke Cornelius Chinemeogo; a student of Economics Department graduated with CGPA of 4.81.
The best graduating student in Department of Economics is also Ugwoke Cornelius Chinemeogo with CGPA of 4.81. It’s a double win for him!
