The Ebonyi State Government, through the Ebonyi State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (EBSMEDA), under the leadership of its Director-General, Dr. Stephen Odoh, is opening another exciting pathway for young Ebonyians to acquire practical, future-ready digital skills.
In collaboration with Mutech Afrique, EBSMEDA is offering a one-week FREE FON4-TECH Initiative training designed to equip participants with skills in Web Development, Graphic Design, Web3 and AI Automation.

From September 14 – 18, 2026, participants will learn from seasoned tutors in a practical and conducive environment at the Staff Development Centre, Kpirikpiri, Abakaliki, with training commencing daily at 10:00 AM.
This initiative is more than just a training programme. It is another deliberate investment in the capacity, creativity and economic independence of Ebonyians – giving young people the tools to compete, create and thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
Importantly, this is not the first time the Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is undertaking initiatives of this nature. It reflects the administration’s sustained commitment to empowering its people not merely with opportunities, but with the skills and knowledge required to take advantage of those opportunities.
Through initiatives such as this, EBSMEDA continues to strengthen the entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem of the State, helping to transform young people from job seekers into skilled professionals, innovators and entrepreneurs.
