Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna has extended a generous offer to Abu-Hurairah Mahadi, a distinguished first-class graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, presenting him with a prestigious scholarship opportunity at Harvard University.
Demonstrating his administration’s unwavering commitment to recognizing and supporting academic excellence, Governor Sani emphasized the importance of incentivizing and motivating students like Mahadi.
Additionally, in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments, Mahadi has been offered employment within the governor’s office following the scholarship award.
Governor Sani expressed admiration for Mahadi’s exceptional achievements and underscored the significance of nurturing talent within the state.
Furthermore, Governor Sani announced another scholarship initiative for Nasarawa Dabo, a remarkable 14-year-old math prodigy with a MENSA IQ score of 150. Dabo has been granted a scholarship to pursue her secondary school education, showcasing the government’s dedication to fostering intellectual growth and development among young scholars.
“Abu-Hurairah Mahadi, recognized as the top graduate with an outstanding CGPA of 4.95, has received a full scholarship from the Kaduna state government for his master’s degree at any choice prestigious university worldwide, including Harvard and Cambridge,” the statement reads.
“Furthermore, he is guaranteed a position at the governor’s office upon completing his studies.
“Nasara James Dabo, aspiring to become a medical doctor, is a 14-year-old math prodigy with a MENSA IQ score of 150. Recognized for her extraordinary memory mastery, including memorizing 678 binary digits in 8 minutes, has been granted a scholarship to complete her secondary education.
“She is encouraged to pursue her dream of becoming an exceptional medical doctor, showcasing the state’s dedication to nurturing and harnessing outstanding talent.
“This prestigious scholarship, a pathway envisioned by deputy governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, underscores the state’s dedication to nurturing diverse talents and supporting aspirations.”
The governor commended both students for their outstanding academic performances, adding that their success should be an inspiration to others in the state.
