Kebbi Government Approves N27.5 Mill Tuition Fees For 38 Indigenes At Law School

Governor Nasir Idris has given his approval for the disbursement of N27,500,000 to cover tuition and registration fees for 38 law students from Kebbi State.

The Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Junaidu Bello Marshal, issued a statement in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, conveying the governor’s decision.

According to the statement, 28 Bar Part II students are set to receive N750,000 each, while their counterparts in Bar Part I will be granted N650,000 each.

The necessity of the governor’s approval arose when the Nigerian Law School increased fees to N476,000 for Bar Part II and N353,000 for Bar Part I, as highlighted in the statement.

Expressing their gratitude, the students, represented by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Junaidu Bello Marshal, commended Governor Nasir Idris for his supportive gesture.

They also pledged their commitment to being exemplary representatives of the state under his administration.
