Several opposition governors are presently at the Supreme Court awaiting judgments on electoral disputes involving them.
The court is set to deliver rulings on seven governorship appeals, encompassing key states such as Lagos, Kano, Zamfara, Plateau, Ebonyi, Bauchi, and Cross River.
Among the early callers in the court were Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano, who is of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
Others are the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara) and Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau).
None of the ruling party governors had been sighted in court at the time of filing this report.
