Small Doctor, the Nigerian singer whose real name is Adekunle Temitope, recently experienced a devastating fire at his residence.
A widely circulated video vividly depicts the extensive damage inflicted upon the singer’s property, valued at millions of naira.
In the footage, individuals can be observed making efforts to salvage what remains of the home, now reduced to ashes.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Fuji singer officially confirmed the fire incident and expressed gratitude to God for his life and safety.
In his post, the Afro-pop recording artiste reflected on the property loss, interpreting it as a prelude to even greater things in the future.
“No pressure for the Lord is with me,” he wrote, adding “that no life was lost”.
“Ile Alaafin to jo, ewa lo bu kun, that is to say king house wey burn na make beautification fit plenty,” the post reads in part.
Small Doctor kicked off his music career in 2012. He, however, shot himself into the limelight after the release of ‘Penalty’, his 2018 single.
‘Penalty’ won the award for ‘Best Street Hop’ at The Headies 2018.
Small Doctor has since then made a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry with a number of awards to his credit.
His songs are mostly composed in English and Yoruba.
