Stella Maris, the spouse of the actor Mr. Ibu, has reportedly taken legal action against her daughter, Jasmine, and stepsons in connection with the alleged misappropriation of funds raised for Mr. Ibu’s medical care.
This information was shared by Doris Ogala, a renowned actress, through her Instagram page, stating that the siblings are currently in custody at the Alagbon police station in Lagos.
According to reports, Stella Maris has accused Jasmine and her stepbrothers of withdrawing 300 million naira from the dedicated account intended for Mr. Ibu’s medical donations.
It is claimed that Stella Maris intended to use the accumulated funds to purchase a new home for herself.
Doris further explained that, following their arrest, police investigations revealed that the total contributions did not amount to 300 million naira as alleged by Stella Maris.
“Jasmine and Ibu’s sons were arrested at Alagbon Police Station. They are detained there. Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments.
“That’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed isn’t even up to 300 million”.
