….as winners go home with different prizes

A leading reading group, Fanev Readers Club which promotes and encourages reading culture in Nigeria has organised its second edition of Reading Challenge, Quiz and Spell Quest Competition in Ebonyi State.

The Reading club was established in October 1, 2019 by Nwachukwu Eze Aja and it’s event sponsored by ANAYO AND MERCY FOUNDATION.

 

This year’s event was held at Aja-Nwachuku Hall, Federal Government College, Okposi, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The epoch making event had over 100 Participants from 12 different schools during the event which was thrilling, impacting and eventful and in which they showed great appreciation for the opportunity to participate.

The event kicked off on 1st November 2023 and ended on the 4th.

Speaking to our correspondent, Mr Nwachukwu said he is excited over the success of the event.

According to him, “Yesterday, Friday 3rd November, we did something that has not visibly happened anywhere in many places in Nigeria.”

“We made the students sat down for 1 hour to read and were accessed based on this reading.”

“Then after 1 hour they were stopped and taught the best reading habits.”

“Both their teachers and the students were happy and impressed at the ingenuity.
Thanks immensely my people”.

He also noted that making the Students in Okposi, Ebonyi State study Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is the most fulfilling for him this season and thanked God that it ended in praise.
