Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, has recently resigned from his role as the National Youth Pastor of Youth Alive Fellowship (YAF), which serves as the youth division of the church.
This development was reported by Church Gist, a media platform associated with Pastor Leke Beecroft, one of the pastoral assistants at the church’s headquarters in Ota.
Isaac’s appointment as the National Youth Pastor of YAF took place in September, following the transfer of Pastor David Nwabueze to Nasarawa State.
The YAF had formally introduced Isaac’s appointment on their social media platforms last month.
“On the behalf of the Youths of Living Faith Church Worldwide, we say a big welcome to our National Youth Pastor, Pastor Isaac Oyedepo as he takes the Youth Alive Fellowship to the next levels of glory,” the announcement read.
Isaac is said to be planning to begin a new ministry independent of the Living Faith Church.
He was ordained as Living Faith Church pastor by American preacher Kenneth Copeland in May 2007.
In a recent interview, he said his purpose in life was “to reclaim a generation and to ensure that this generation sees the fire God’s revival in our generation.”
Isaac pastored the Winners Chapel International in South Africa; Maryland, United States; and Lokogoma, Abuja before he was redeployed to the headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.
He graduated from Oral Roberts University, US, while his elder brother David Oyedepo Junior is the resident pastor of the church’s headquarters known as Faith Tabernacle.
He is married to Ayomitide and they are blessed with children.
