Actor John Okafor, renowned by his stage name, Mr. Ibu, recently emerged from two successful major surgeries.
This heartening news was shared by his adopted daughter, Jazmine Okafor, via an Instagram post on a Tuesday morning.
Jazmine, who appeared visibly delighted by her father’s progress, conveyed that despite the medical challenges, Mr. Ibu retained his sense of humor, attempting to crack jokes as if nothing had occurred.
She further mentioned that in the past three weeks, this was the most robust and resilient she had seen him.
“Never seen anyone so strong… even after two major surgeries, you were still trying to be funny like nothing happened, even in your lowest you still cracked jokes! I promise you, if there’s a God in heaven, you are getting out of this bed, stronger and alive. This is the strongest I have seen you in 3 weeks and I’m so excited! Fight this and get well soon, sweet papa,” she wrote.
