Renowned video jockey and actress, Laura Monyeazo Abebe, known by her stage name Moet Abebe, recently expressed her preferences when it comes to dating.
During the inaugural episode of the ‘Bahd and Boujee’ podcast, which she co-hosted with reality TV star Tolanibaj, Moet Abebe made it clear that she would not consider dating a man residing on the Lagos mainland.
Conversely, Tolanibaj held a different viewpoint on the matter. She indicated that she doesn’t have an issue with her partner living on the mainland, as long as he is willing to make the effort to spend time with her.
Tolanibaj explained that a simple phone call by 11 p.m., followed by his journey to her house, would be a satisfactory arrangement for her.
Moet stated that she would not want to be in a relationship with someone who would make excuses about being late or passing through police checkpoints if she wanted to see him at night.
The Video Jockey said: “I’ve always said this thing, I can’t necessarily date someone that lives on the mainland. I feel like if I call him at night he’ll probably give me some story like ‘It’s too late, there’s police on the street. I can’t come.”
