Tinubu Condoles With NASS Over Death Of Sokoto Reps Member, Danbuga

President Bola Tinubu extended his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the leadership and members of the House of Representatives in the wake of a tragic event.

The sorrowful occasion is the untimely passing of Hon. Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, the distinguished representative of Isa/Sabon Birni federal constituency in Sokoto State.

Hon. Danbuga’s demise occurred in the early hours of a Wednesday, a solemn event that deeply affected many. His passing was the result of a brief illness that cut short a promising life dedicated to public service.

In expressing his condolences, President Tinubu recognized the profound impact of Hon. Danbuga’s loss. The President acknowledged that this tragedy had not only created a void within the lawmaker’s immediate family but had also deprived the people of his constituency of an unwavering and dedicated representation within the esteemed House of Representatives.

“His victory at the polls was, in itself, a testimony that he was loved by his people. He earned their respect. I understand that he had been providing effective representation for his constituents in the House.

“I offer my condolences to his family and constituents, as well as the people and government of Sokoto State. I also condole with the presiding officers of the House of Representatives and the entire membership over the devastating loss of an eminent colleague,” he said.

The President prayed for the repose of the soul of late Hon. Danbuga and for divine comfort to his family.
