The Group Managing Director, Skyewise Group Dr. Elvis Abuyere has congratulated Nigerians at the occasion of the country’s 63rd Independence anniversary, praying for the country’s greatness to unravel.
In a social media post on Sunday, Dr. Abuyere said despite hearing the cliché, “Nigeria will be great again” from his days as a child, that day of greatness is yet to come.
According to Dr. Abuyere, the collective greatness of all Nigerians will lead to the country’s greatness, not only of those in political offices.
“Greatness is not what you see, greatness is what you envision as a citizen of this great nation!
“We are the greatness of Nigeria not just the people in political leadership positions, the day we begin to unveil the greatness in us, we begin to see the manifestation in the land!”, he noted.
While felicitating with Nigerians on the national struggle in the past 63 years, Dr. Abuyere called for tactical efforts to recruit great people into positions of leadership, saying weak people can’t make great leaders.
“Think about this; if a man is not great as a person, how can he be great in a leadership position?
“It’s the greatness within a man that exhumes national transformation”, he stated.
