Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah has opened up about his family roots, clearing up questions many Nigerians have had about his background.

For years, some people believed the veteran actor was from the Eastern part of Nigeria. But Ramsey Nouah has now shared a different side of his heritage.

He described himself as a Yoruba boy, born and bred in Lagos, with strong Yoruba roots through his mother According to Ramsey:

«“ I’m a Yoruba boy, born and bred in Lagos. My mother is from Ondo and my father is Lebanese. ”»
