“sharing rice as palliative does not have any meaning to any Igbo man as we are not beggars and the only thing you can do for an Igbo man is to allow him make a living for himself.”
The President-General of the sociocultural organisation, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has vowed to use a non-kinetic approach to resolve security challenges in the south – east region of Nigeria by appealing to people causing bloodshed to embrace peace.
Iwuanyanwu, described the killings and bloodshed in the South – East as ‘strange,’ saying that as a father he is tired of the death of his children. He added that each time he hears anybody killed, he feels sad because most of them are doing what they are doing because of hunger and unemployment.
The Igbo Leader appealed to the federal government to assist the zone with the reconstruction of railways, creating seaports and more international airports to ease their businesses saying that the issue of sharing rice as palliative does not have any meaning to any Igbo man as we are not beggars and the only thing you can do for an Igbo man is to allow him make a living for himself.
Iwuanyanwu said that spite of the frustration of the moment, he is convinced that we will overcome , someday.
