While Nigerian is faced with national insecurty challenges , communual crimes should be prevented within our communities and must be surmounted by our police and other security personels if we hope to come out of the the national security challenges in the future.

Community observation and intelligence gathering over times has uncoverd the growing rate of a good number of boys who are into criminal activities of various kind .Their criminal activities has grown not limited to local community robbery but having existing gangs of cultistism and inter- state robbery gangs of verous groups.

The groups are said to have have taken dominance of uzor street, Abukuru ,Goriola and Alhaji Rasaq street as their base.Acording to information from residents in the above mentined streets, the terrible boys hold their parties, birthdays , celebrations, marking ceremonies of their babies and mostly when ever a member or gang succeed from and outings of a bigger operations.Other crimial operations in the neighbourhood include, pocket picking, bags snatching early morning hours and late night , buglary , sim card( money transfer from victims’account),cultistism practices ,(Black Axe and Red Axe)

Some of the members of their hostage community mentioned above ,have lamented , what they often suffered from this gangs and how toutes proudly tell lawful residents that “if its Ajeromi police any one would like to go to for report, they shout go .for its a waste of time ” They have claimed having back up by the afore metion police station .Its also comfirmed and attested by one of the attacked victims recently in the area that during their party police officers usually come arround and after a briefe time go away .metioned specifically is a team led by one inspector Dan AKA ( oga Dan).

One of the residuant who pleaded not to be mentioned said the gangs have inclusively of 3 ladies for highway and inter- state operation.

She comfirmed that ,they posses arms as seen during their inter- cultist clashes .She futher stated that they were shocked when the criminal boys hired Army who came to secure or cover 2 of the parties held few months ago ..

EFFECT: Report has it that the existence of the criminal gangs and their displays in the streets mentioned above , over time has left a bad impact on the communities.such as ,increase in number of school drop out among the boys : many young ones of 15 to 18yrs had dropped out of schools within jss 3 and ss1 and have been recruited into these criminal teams of gangs.,Also, they have noted a growing rate of teenage pregnancy of the girls who are entised with money there by cutting short their dreams. from futhering education.

There is now a complete lost of positive moral behaviour by children in the hostage areas . children are open to daily unethical moral activities, smoking, drinking of alcohol and locally mixed one with drugs ,

The use of arms ,guns and cutlasses during fighting or riots is leaving nagative life style emulated by growing kids.
