The wife of Ondo State’s governor, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, recently took to social media to share a heartwarming video.
The video captures a touching family moment as her husband, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, reunites with his children and grandchildren.
Dressed in an elegant white senator outfit paired with a distinctive green cap, Governor Akeredolu can be seen embracing his grandchildren, surrounded by the loving presence of his children.
Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu posted this heartwarming video on a Saturday with the affectionate caption, “Aketi, my love.”
The video also captured the moment Akeredolu and wife kissed during their wedding anniversary celebration.
Akeredolu arrived in Nigeria on Thursday from his medical trip to Germany.
Mrs Anyanwu-Akeredolu announced this on social media with a photo of her husband onboard an aircraft.
“Homebound,” she captioned the picture.
The governor began his medical leave in June and it was extended following advice from his doctors and approval by the House of Assembly.
Meanwhile, there have been calls from the opposition led by the Peoples Democratic Party for the governor, who has lost weight, to prove his fitness or resign.
