The founder and General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has distributed bags of rice and cash to widows in his church to cushion the effect of subsidy removal.
There has been unprecedented economic hardship nationwide resulting from the sudden removal of subsidy on premium motor Spirit PMS by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which saw pump price of petrol jumping from around N200 to N700.
The cleric disclosed the palliative in a statement on Monday.
He said putting smiles on the faces of people is the work God has called him to do.
The statement reads,
DUE TO THE CURRENT INCREMENT IN THE PRICE OF FUEL, APOSTLE CHIBUZOR CHINYERE ASSEMBLED THE WIDOWS OF THE CHURCH IN HIS RESIDENCE TO DISTRIBUTE BAGS OF RICE TO ALL OF THEM.

In the spirit of doing the good work God has called him to do, the man of God thought it wise to gift these women seeing that there is so much hunger and starvation due to the current increment in the price of fuel. Atleast with this, these women will have food for them and their children.
This is the work God has called him to do, to put smiles on the faces of people and that’s why God is over happy with OPM.
