President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has released fresh list of appointments in the Nigerian Customs Service.
The current list comprises of three Deputy Comptroller Generals (DCGs) and three Assistant Comptroller Generals (ACGs) of the Nigeria Customs.
spokesperson of the Nigerian Customs Abdullahi Maiwada in a statement said President Tinubu’s approval comes following the appointment of the Acting Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR on 19 June 2023 and the retirement of some management members in the Service.
The three Deputy Comptroller Generals are
F.O. Okun,
M.B.A Musa, and
A. Hamisu.
The Assistant Comptroller Generals include
K. Olumoh,
A.B Mohammed and
A. Alajogun.
Meanwhile, the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Adeniyi has sent a congratulatory message to the newly appointed Officers.
Adeniyi charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation.
