Civil Society Organizations in Edo state this morning took to the streets to stage a protest over the continuous hike in petrol pump prices.
They carried different placards with inscriptions such as
“FG fix our refineries’.
“Reduce Cost of Governance Not Increasing Fuel Price’, ‘’How did NNPC become fuel price regulator?”
The protesters say the Federal government should allow the poor to breathe as the increase in petrol pump prices is choking poor Nigerians.
But it's also our right to protect the integrity of our published product.
