The Lagos State police command yesterday rescued a day old baby dumped inside a sewage tank.
Nobody could say who dumped the baby or when as at the time of filling this report.
However, the baby has been taken to a hospital and is doing well according to the police.
A statement issued on the official Twitter page of the Lagos State police command @Lagos PoliceNG says,
“a day old female baby was found in a sewage tank today at about 8:30 am. Officers of Gowon Estate Division upon being alerted arrived at the scene. The baby was taken to a health center for medical attention and is doing well.”
The statement read.
