BREAKING!! Pro Biafra Militants, Joint Border Security Personnel in Gun Battle, One Dead

At least one person has been killed after an unknown militant group suspected to be pro Biafran opened fire on joint border securities at the maritime border of Bakassi Peninsula.

IgbereTV understands that the group coming from Nigeria’s border axis reportedly overwhelmed the Nigerian navy to cross over to the Cameroonian controlled side where oil installations are.

According to sources, there was heavy exchange of gunfire which resulted to the death of one militant member. The attack occurred around 9 am on Friday.

Motive of the attack is yet unknown; sources suspects the group to be working for Biafra separatists.

The Biafra Nations League, BnL, at a press conference few weeks ago in Calabar, Cross River State gave the federal government ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu, and the Cameroonian Forces to withdraw Forces from Bakassi.

Princewill Richards the leader of BnL addressing journalists said consequences of the two government refusal could lead to complete shutdown of maritime border and the oil installations by their supporters.
