Following the inaugural speech of the newly Sworn-in president, Bola Tinubu of plan to end fuel subsidy, the pump price of petrol PMS jumped to between N600 to 1, 200 at Filling Stations across the country.
This morning, NNPC has adjusted it’s pump price for PMS to 511 Naira per Litre in Port-harcourt, which is believed to be same nationwide.
Just yesterday, the same petrol was sold for 230 Naira at NNPC stations.
Reacting, a concerned Nigeria said: “In the course of this subsidy, people’s savings just lost 58% of it’s value overnight. That means your N100,000 naira in the bank is worth 42,000 right now.”
