INEC Lying Against Labour Party to Frustrate Peter Obi's Case - Kalu

By Peter Agba Kalu

INEC lying against Labour Party is part of the larger design to frustrate the Peter Obi case and to large extend, the Obidient Movement that has come to stay and transform Nigeria.

Abia PDP should stop building castle on the air over this issue and think they will use it as a reason to thwarted the peoples overwhelming decision to vote them out. The fact remains, even if Abia Labour Party did submit their list as INEC is alleging, the Electoral law did not stipulate any punishment regards to non submission of Party register, it is not an electoral offense, neither is it a constitutional offense, there’s no ground to use it and remove a gubernatorial candidate that won his election.

This is evidence that notice to that effect was given to INEC Nigeria if the electoral umpire couldn’t adhere to it’s own internal protocols-which is what it is-they, not Labour Party are to be blamed.

More importantly, to note that the issue is purely academic building hope or any other on it is just to further keep false hope alive for the not-too-informed PDP members who are being told PDP is coming back. Nothing of such will happen. In 9 days from today Alex Otti will be sworn in.
