10th NASS: Ogah Drums Support for Abass, Kalu for Speaker, Deputy

Member-elect, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah has called on all elected house of representatives members of the 10th Assembly to support the aspiration of Hon. Abass Tajudeen as the Speaker of the house.

The Labour Party Member-elect who made this known to journalist in Abuja while reacting to the endorsement of Hon Abass by the ruling party said politicians should look beyond money politics and choose competency.

Hon. Amobi Ogah

Hon. Ogah who has been an advocate of zoning lauds the APC administration for getting it right for the first time noting that it will bring unity and inclusiveness to other regions and zones in the country.

Ogah who is the south east campaign Coordinator for Hon TJ Abass for the speakership of the 10th assembly described him as a man of integrity, capacity and of good character and noted that his emergence as the Speaker will create wealth to the Nigerian people.

According to him ” Hon Abass has shown more competence and character which has given him an edge to be a preferred Aspirant to others.

“As a politician he is not doing money politics like others which is part of what my leader, Mr Peter Obi of the labour party preaches. He is just a replica of Obi and that is more reason am supporting him and calling on other of my colleagues to do same.

“Am assuring you that with Hon Abass as the Speaker and Hon Ben Kalu as the Deputy Speaker, the 10th Assembly will achieve more and will take the country to a greater height.

He further noted that politicians who would want to serve the people should first have your own personal means of income and engage in self development rather that exploiting the nations wealth and subjecting the masses into extreme poverty.

“Government money is public money it is not your money. Government money is meant for public good”.
