Chief Olusegun Obasanjo will this week cut the tape to inaugurate the 23.4km Eket – Etinan Road Project that links Etinan, Nsit Ibom, Nsit Ubium with Eket LGAs.
It is the second longest constructed dual carriage road in Akwa Ibom State
It comes with three new bridges measuring 199m
Also on this road is a 4.11km Outfall Drain
Carriageway Width of 8m each
Provides easier access to the State College of Education, Afaha Nsit and connects with the 20km Uyo – Etinan Road
Obasanjo is commissioning the third major project in the State under Governor Udom Emmanuel. He earlier commissioned the 1km flyover in Ikot Oku Ikono and the 29km Etinan – Ndon Eyo Road.
