Police Trail Notorious Cultist Allegedly Behind Asari’s Murder Over Oil Bunkering
It is no longer news that the Rivers state Police command are in search of a notorious cultist named Ugochukwu Ukeagbu allegedly responsible for the cult related killings in the Diobu axis of Port Harcourt Metropolis.
IgbereTV had reported how a popular cult leader, Asari was shot dead during a cult war by rival cult groups over oil bunkering sites in Port Harcourt.
According to PHOnline, Ugochukwu an indigene of Imo state grew up in the streets of Diobu, Port Harcourt but left for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire after members of his gang were arrested for Kidnapping sometime in November 2014.

His return in 2022 unveiled another dimension of cult related activities, killings and robbery within Diobu, especially the pickpocketing witnessed around mile 1 flyover and Education Bus Stop, Ikwerre road axis of Port Harcourt.
One of such incidences is the ongoing cult war believed to be masterminded by Mr Ugochukwu Ukeagbu within the mile 1, 2 and 3 axis of Diobu Port Harcourt.
The clash erupted when Ugochukwu came back from Abidjan and asked the leaders of his Blood Star cult group (popularly know as BS) to step down and support his emergence, this he claimed was due him having suffered several attacks by rivals as well as being prosecuted by the Police.
This brought about disarray within various factions of his cult group where opposing members were threatened to back off or risk their lives.
Mr. Ukeagbu’s desperation didn’t end there as he continued in his quest to takeover the stronghold and hotspot of crime within Diobu axis; “Ogu Waterfront”. This and much more has been the reasons for wanton cult related killings experienced within the Diobu axis which has taken lives.
However, close sources reveal Mr Ugochukwu has been on the run as all efforts to get him arrested has been doubled by the security agencies.
Not more than 24 hours ago, the culprit switched off all his phone lines (08162949321) and deleted all Photographs, videos and post from his Facebook wall.
