Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has made a disturbing claim against President Muhammadu Buhari’s government and the Department of State Security Service. Sowore claimed that there is a plot to assassinate Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB). The AAC flag bearer said that there is a political warfare plan to kill Kanu while he is in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Sowore made the assertion while bemoaning a Tuberculosis outbreak in a DSS prison facility.
Sowore appealed for Nnamdi Kanu’s release in a tweet.
“#FreeNnamdiKanuNow,” he tweeted. The covert introduction of tuberculosis into the DSS prison centre indicates a biological warfare objective aimed at killing Nnamdi Kanu in detention after competent courts have given him release from wrongful detention.”
