And Gowon took possesion of power as Commander in Chief.
That incident marked the turning point in the fortunes of Igbos in Nigeria.
Gowon is coming to Umuahia the birthplace of Aguiyi Ironsi to inaugurate Otti, because “There is no balm in Gilead”
First of all, Otti should ask Gowon whether he Gowon has ever apologized for the death of Ironsi and millions of Igbos who lost their lives.
If Gowon,despite his preachments and prayers does not think it necessary to apologize to Igbos, and to the Ironsi family, then Otti should watch the spiritual foundation he is desperate to lay in Abia.
Is it not too early to begin to shop for alliances, and sundry image gimmicks?
