When it comes to quality, Governor Udom Emmanuel has repeatedly assured Akwa Ibom people that he doesn’t build projects and infrastructure for today but infrastructure to last a lifetime that is why he doesn’t compromise on quality in churning out world class roads for the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The almost completed Eket – Etinan Road project will be commissioned on 2nd May and the road which is a dual carriage expressway comes with three new bridges, all handled by Chinese construction giants, CCECC. The road empties into the Atabong road urbanization scheme of the Governor in Eket.
With this 23.4km road, years of agony by road users from Eket through Afaha Nsit to Etinan is now history.
