Another US Media, DailyLoud Reports Nigerian President-elect Tinubu's Drug Case (Photos)

Another US media platform, Daily Loud has reported the controversial Drug case of Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The tweet has so far garnered over 70,000 reactions.

“In 1993, Bola Ahmed Tinubu surrendered $460,000 to the U.S. government after a Chicago court found the income came from packing and shipping heroin.”

Reacting, Mikael C Bernard @MikaelCBernard said:

“For non Nigerians, this man here is an ancestor that has been on this earth for almost a century. Nobody knows when he was born, or where or how.

“The US Govt seized $460k from him for drug related charges in 1993. He’d have been arrested, but he was in Nigeria as a senator then. They could have taken more, but the US law then had a maximum of $500k penalty for such offenses.

“He and his family members have also been named on several money laundering lists, such as pandora paper, Panama papers, Bahamas papers and many more.

“This year, he ran for President and to the surprise of everyone, the corrupt electoral commission declared him winner in the middle of the night. Nobody voted him, apart from a few insane people and drug addicts who did so for selfish gains.

“Nigerians are waiting for the court to send him packing, as we have nothing to do with this ancestor. You can help us by retweeting this, so more people can know that this man doesn’t represent Nigerians.”
