Following Thursday’s announcement of Bishop Isaac Idahosa as the running mate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso, clips of the clergyman’s activities in his church have gone viral on social media.
Idahosa is the presiding bishop and senior pastor of God First Ministry, Lekki Light Centre, Ajah, Lagos.
Raised and educated in Niger State, the 57-year-old started his ministry in Niger before moving to Lagos.
Idahosa is an automobile engineer from Kaduna Polytechnic.
He also has master’s and doctorate degrees in theology.
In videos which have surfaced on the internet, the cleric is seen demonstrating power.
Kwankwaso said he selected Idahosa as his running mate because of his “outstanding record and impeccable integrity”.
“A self-made achiever and a credible Nigerian, Bishop Idahosa is also selected because he represents the definition of a true role model for the Nigerian Youth,” he added in a statement.
