2023: Nigeria Country Ruled by Fools, PVC Useless As A Piece Of Tissue - Stancy

2023: Nigeria Country Ruled by Fools, PVC Useless As A Piece Of Tissue – Stancy | #IgbereTV

It has often been said that your vote is your power and that the electoral process is your major avenue towards determining who leads you, whilst exercising your franchise.

Several campaigns run on media channels emphasize the importance of the permanent voter registration in order to gain the pre-requisite to participate in elections, which had been the case for every electoral cycle over the years.

There is no gainsaying the fact that these are elements required in ideal scenarios, in very sane climes populated by humans with a great deal of logic reasoning capabilities, as democracy itself, envisages. Hence, the staging and impact of debates at key levels of leadership aspirations.

Sadly, I have come to infer over the years, based on experience and intent observation , that the Nigerian scenario is grossly undeserving of any such sensitisation and element. Indeed I dare say, registering to get a PVC is a waste of time and the Voter Card itself, is as useless as a piece of tissue…yes; to the right thinking citizens of this nation.

First off, since the advent of the fourth republic, experience has shown a predictable outcome in electoral results favouring candidates deriving the support of “behind the scenes kingmakers”, who possess political and should I say oppressive capital, resident in a vast majority of the plundered population of the country, who have been impoverished financially, physically, emotionally and worse still; mentally. This is so because, the records have shown same repetitive action by this category of citizens over the years, with the expectation of totally differing outcomes; a classic definition of fools, who constantly sell their birthright for porridge, that barely lasts a week in exchange for lifetime suffering.

Again, it is made worse by the realisation that the sheer number of citizens in that category overwhelm that of those who still retain their intellect and capacity to question the system, challenge the status quo and vote for other candidates outside the major recycled platforms.

It is indeed a shame, that whoever gets to win elections in the Nigeria of today will largely be determined by the overwhelming majority that make up the vast populace. A reason a certain aspirant has been described as “strategic and smart” in his declaration speech, by opting to eulogise his boss’s “failure-achievement”, just to gain his political capital in the north. A political capital consisting of the almajiris both local and imported, the grossly uneducated, the area boys who don’t know their left from right, the religious and ethnic bigots, the market women overruled by emotions rather than reason, the lazy youths with no personalized world view, the starved civil and public servants, bimbo slay queens and mamas, the jobless stipend receiving N-POWER/ SURE -P and other government palliative beneficiaries, et al.

So, even though an election is a great avenue to determine sane, fair, just, equitable, focused, driven and effective leadership, it is a complete disgrace that the Nigerian electorate seeks to beget what it is unlike and the minority intellectual population, who think differently, are as yet to realize, that they share a country with a vast majority of fools, morons and idiots.

This is a key reason the next general elections will end up producing the best nincompoop candidate amongst the lot, suited to that vast majority, except there’s a major reset, as suggested by the Senior Advocate and University Proprietor.

PS:
My definition of a fool, slowpoke and idiot: A person who keeps doing same things, same way, over and over again with the expectation of different outcomes.
