Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikateland has lost his only son who recently clocked a year and seven months old.
The boy was his first child with his second wife, Queen Hadiza Elegushi, nee Tanko.
He was born on August 21, 2020, in London and was the heir apparent to the Elegushi throne before his death.
The cause of his death was not immediately clear.
Oba Elegushi married Hadiza in 2019. He has three daughters with his first wife Olori Sekinat with whom he has been married for over 18 years.
Queen Hadiza is the daughter of Kano politician Tanko Yakassai.
