Akinwumi Adesina, Kamala Harris At Paris Peace Forum

President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Akinwumi Adesina has met United States Vice President Kamala Harris in Paris, France.

The duo met at a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palais Elysée on the sidelines of the three-day Paris Peace Forum.

Mr Adesina and Mrs Harris posed for a selfie.

In a tweet early Friday, Adesina said it was wonderful to meet the first woman and the first black woman to be vice president of the United States.

“Wonderful to meet with Vice President @KamalaHarris at dinner by President @EmmanuelMacron at the Elysée, Paris. Let’s accelerate greater US investments in Africa!” he wrote.

President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Paris on Tuesday for the forum which will be concluded on Saturday, November 13.
