Gunmen have invaded a branch of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, a.k.a Winners Chapel, founded by Bishop David Oyedepo, in Kogi State.
Chairman of Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State Joseph Salami said through his media aide Habeeb Jamiu on Monday that three persons were abducted from the church.
The church is located at Osara community on the Lokoja-Okene Road in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Salami said the gunmen shot endlessly into the air to scare the community, and took their victims captive.
The council chairman said that he had visited the scene of the incident, alongside the divisional police officer of Osara Division.
He said that the council was working with security agents to ensure the victims’ release.
