Industrialist Samuel Adedoyin Loses Daughter Omolola

Industrialist Prince Samuel Adedoyin has lost a daughter Princess Omolola Olobayo, three years after another daughter died.

Mrs Olobayo reportedly died of cardiac arrest in a Lagos hospital on Tuesday night. Among other roles she took up in her career, she was a former president, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, north central zone.

The deceased was married to Prince John Olobayo. Their first son Subomi, 28, died of suicide in June.

Her husband spoke with journalists on Wednesday, saying “She died in a Lagos hospital on Tuesday night. The family will meet to discuss the burial arrangement. A statement will be issued after the meeting to announce the burial arrangement.”

Adedoyin, founder of Doyin Group, first lost his daughter Funke in September 2018 to cancer. She was a member of the House of Representatives and was previously in the cabinet of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
