Always Be Guided by your Marital Vows, Abia Speaker Advises Newlywed (Photos)

 

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today attended the solemnization of Holy Matrimony between former Miss Ifunanya Marylinda Arodiogbu and Hon Ibe Michael Nwoke, the Executive Chairman of Obingwa LGA and Chairman of ALGON, Abia State, at the Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral, Ogui, Enugu.

Addressing the couple at the reception venue, the Speaker advised them to love, cherish and tolerate each other always.

“Communicate respectfully because good communication is the backbone of every successful marriage. Be open and committed because a good marriage is one which allows for change and growth in the individuals and in the way they express their love”, the Speaker said.

The Abia Number One Lawmaker who was the Chairman of the occasion prayed for the success of the marriage.

The Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Lawmaker representing Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Hon Darlington Nwokocha, Secretary to the Abia State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, Head of Service, Sir Onyi Wamah, Members of Abia State House of Assembly, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, clergymen, traditional rulers, businessmen and other top government functionaries graced the event.
