UNILAG Considers Suspension Of Super TV CEO’s Alleged Killer

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is considering suspending Chidinma Ojukwu who allegedly killed the chief executive officer of Super TV Usifo Ataga, sources have said.

Ms Ojukwu is a 300 level student of the university’s department of mass communication. According to a lecturer who did not want name mentioned, the 21-year-old has not been seen on campus since the coronavirus-induced lockdown last year.

She also did not write the first semester exams in April.

Sources say Ojukwu could be suspended over her alleged action which is contrary to the provisions of the institution’s students’ handbook.

“There is no two ways, she will be suspended,” a professor at the university told PUNCH on Friday on the condition of anonymity.

He added that the suspect would at least be suspended pending the outcome of the police investigation.

It was also learnt that a committee will probe the matter before a decision is taken.

Meanwhile, the varsity has not made an official statement on the matter.
