Former presidential candidate Oby Ezekwesili on Monday mourned former United States’ member of House of Representatives John Lewis.
Mr Lewis died on July 17, 2020, about a month after Mrs Ezekwesili lost her mother Cecilia Ujubuonu.
Ezekwesili said in a tweet that she missed the civil rights activist’s “rare wisdom” and “kindness”.
“My profile pictures today are with someone who was quite dear to my heart, @repjohnlewis! He died about the same time as I was grieving the passing of my unforgettable Nnem,” she wrote.
“I terribly miss the rare wisdom and kindness of #MyBigBrother John as I called him.”
Ezekwesili’s mother died on June 21, 2020, after a battle with cancer.
