The son of the former vice-president and 2nd President of Biafra, Philip Effiong Jr, will be addressing the Coastal Biafrans this weekend in an interactive session, IgbereTV has learned.
Coastal Biafrans are made up Ijaws, Ogoni, Ibibios and many other tribes of the old Eastern Region that live predominantly on the coast.
Their agitation is for the actualisation of the Republic of Biafra. The group is led an Ijaw activist, Tumuno Tonye and an Ogoni called Onajuite. They also run ‘Coastal Biafra TV’
Contrary to some insinuation that Biafra is an Igbo affair, there many people and tribes of the South South who are actively advocating for Biafra independence.
The interactive session which will be broadcast live on Costal Biafra TV Social media accounts is billed for Sunday, 13th June 2021 by 1pm Biafran Time.
