2023: APC Youths in Abia Central Calls on Bishop Emeka Nwankpa to Fix Abia State

[Sponsored]

According to Edmond Burke, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for the good men to do nothing”.

As if that is not enough, the holy scripture admits that where there is no vision, unarguably the people perish.

Abia, the God’s own state has since its creation not been fortunate in the area of governance. It’s been one gory tale after another. As at last count, the state is a mere shadow of itself. These past years have been years of locust, with the huge resources received from the Federation account, donor agencies, loans and internal generated revenues not being in commiserate with what is on ground.

We live today in a state where workers are owed for several months and years of their wages and pensions without tangible or most times no reasons or explanations.

It is now government of the few for the few by the few, with infrastructural decay being our trademark. We are now a laughing stock in the comitee of states, with our debt profile on the steady increase. Abia is on the wheel of total collapse. We can’t pretend otherwise.

No state thrives, develops or succeeds in the light of above mentioned anomalies. That explains why the The Abia central Youth wing of the All progressive Congress (APC) are in dire search of a man with the requisite capacity and capability to bring our Dear State from its current woods.

The man AMBASSADOR. DR. BISHOP EMEKA MICHAEL NWANKPA at this point comes to mind.

Amb. Bishop Emeka Michael Nwankpa, the Ngwa born, Abia State ferry clergy and general Overseer of Chapel of Faith Bible Assembly International, Onitsha in Anambra State does not need much introduction as his humanitarian activities have remained second to none.

It is on record that in the last fifteen (15) uninterrupted years, he has through his foundation blessed several thousands of lives, mostly the indigent.

A self made man, who does not believe or belong in the category of godfatherism, if given the opportunity, we are optimistic that he will translate our collective dreams into full realities by his vast and unlimited contacts, connections, correspondences and ideas to create wealth for Abians and make it an economic destination hub.

Amb. Nwankpa no doubt enjoys a dose of good will which spreads across the three senatorial zones of the State, with trust, transparency, accountability and honesty being his watchword and middle name, the major attribute that have seen him through in all he does.

It is on the strength of the above intimidating record that we beckon on you to accept this Clarion call for the redemption of the soul of Abia State.

In the words of Dante “The hottest place in hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of moral conflict”. Afterall, he who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

We must not and can no longer remain fencists and neutralists. We must passionately join in this rescue and redemption mission of our Dear sinking State, and Amb. Bishop Dr. Emeka Michael Nwankpa is our collective and irrevocable choice come 2023.

“DEAR BISHOP, ABIA IS A NEAR FAILED STATE. IT IS BLEEDING PROFUSELY. THE GLORY IS GONE. IT IS ONLY YOU OR NO OTHER”
